Jetpack Joyride Racing, Halfbrick Studios' new racing title, launches Closed Beta Test on mobile (2025)

Halfbrick Studios has announced its upcoming multiplayer racing title, Jetpack Joyride Racing, with a closed beta test (CBT) available on both Android and iOS. The game has also opened pre-registration on Android. According to the App Store listing, it is expected to launch on June 20, 2025.

Jetpack Joyride Racing is a fast-paced action paced multiplayer racing title set in the beloved Jetpack Joyride universe. In this game, you can race as iconic characters, drift through corners, time your boosts, and use dynamic racing zones to outplay your opponent and win the race.

As someone who has played Jetpack Joyride a lot growing up, I am very hyped for this one, especially since you can play as iconic characters like Barry Steakfries, Professor Brains, Josie, and more. Not only that, you can also customize your characters, ships, and trails, which sounds cool.

The game looks very fun and is full of potential, offering 4 unique tracks packed with obstacles, shortcuts, and tactical opportunities, intuitive controls, deep mechanics, real-time multiplayer races with up to 6 players, Party Mode, various iconic characters, customization, and more.

How to join the Jetpack Joyride Racing closed beta test (CBT)

A Closed beta test for Jetpack Joyride Racing is now live on both Android and iOS, and the good news is that you can apply for the test and enjoy the experience firsthand. Here’s how:

• First, join the official Discord server of the game.
• Next, head over to the Announcements channel.
• There you will find the Beta Tester Form.
• Fill it out to apply for the CBT.
• If you are selected, you can download the game for either Android or iOS.

Also, the game is open for pre-registration on Android via Google Play Store and iOS via App Store. The studio is offering a Halfbrick+ subscription, which lets you unlock new racers, tracks, and customizations. Plus, it includes high-rated titles, regular updates, new games, and more, all free of ads and IAPs.
